About Me

My first encounter with yoga was in 2012. I couldn’t touch my toes, but I was curious. At first, it didn’t stick… yet over the next few years, I kept finding my way back to it. Now I see that as the beginning of what has become my heart’s calling.

In 2015, I started attending regular classes in London. I still remember the sense of calm and space that came over me during those 90-minute, breath-led practices. For the first time, my busy, anxious mind could rest - a moment to slow down, to not think. It felt so good. I was also drawn to the physicality of the practice, preferring it to other forms of exercise. It wasn’t until later that I began to understand that yoga offered something much deeper.

As life became more chaotic, I turned to yoga to help restore balance during times of stress and burnout. That’s when I began to uncover its true magic - the healing, the transformation, the reconnection. My curiosity deepened, as did my longing for a new way of living - one that felt more aligned, more spacious, more in rhythm with nature and ancestral wisdom.

So I enrolled in my 200-hour yoga teacher training. It was life-changing. The experience broke me open so I could return to myself. I came to understand yoga not just as movement, but as a way of life. I never expected to teach - I was terrified of public speaking - but through the training, I faced that fear head-on. And surprisingly, I found I loved teaching and holding space.

Since then, I’ve remained committed to learning and growing, both as a student and teacher. I’ve taken several further trainings and I am always immersed in books or practices that continue to shape my teaching and self-inquiry. This year, I’ll complete my 300-hour Advanced Teacher Training with High Yoga School.

In addition to teaching, I’ve recently begun holding space for ceremony and ritual - marking Moon Days, Celtic Calendar Traditions, and Mama Blessings. These gatherings have quickly become some of my most loved work - a way for us to remember and return to the wisdom of those who came before us.

How I Approach Teaching

I teach yoga to help people find a sense of balance and ease - within themselves and in everyday life. My classes offer space to slow down: body, breath, and mind. A space away from the noise and distraction of the outside world, where students can reconnect, inquire, and find their way back to a more grounded, balanced way of being.

My approach is calm, welcoming, and heart-led. I aim to make students feel at ease and confident in their practice - whether it’s their first class or one of many.

Each class is intention-led, so the practice carries meaning that goes beyond the physical (asana). I honour the roots of yoga and guide students to connect with their inner experience. Breath is at the heart of the practice - our anchor and guide into the present. I prioritise breath over how a posture looks, focusing on the intention behind each movement and the physical presence rather than the movement itself.

I recognise that everyone arrives with their unique story, body, and circumstances - and what we need from our practice varies - so I offer choices, making space for students to do as much or as little as they like. My classes are welcoming and inclusive, suitable for all levels from beginners to advanced practitioners.

A typical class includes grounding, breathwork (pranayama), intention setting, a movement practice, and always closes with stillness and rest to allow space for integration. The pace depends on the style being taught, but the intention is always the same: to support your return to balance and wholeness.
